Some love stories begin with a chance meeting. Ours began long before we ever met in person.

We first came to know of each other at the ages of 14 (Laken) and 17 (Jeffrey). Our dads worked together and became good friends, which led to us talking over text messages and phone calls. Even though we lived separate lives, we both developed crushes on each other at different times. Life, however, had other plans, and after about a year we lost touch.

More than a decade passed.

Then, in 2023, life brought us back together. This time, we finally met face to face. What started as reconnecting and simply just catching up on each other's lives quickly turned into something neither of us expected.

Sometimes the best love stories aren’t rushed; they’re simply waiting for the right moment.

From years of crossed paths and missed timing and our invisible string (unbeknownst to us) holding us together, to finding each other exactly when we were meant to, our story is proof that what’s meant to be will always find its way. Even when you're least expecting it.

Now, we can’t wait to begin our greatest adventure yet as husband and wife, and we’re so grateful to celebrate this next chapter with the people we love most!
